With its soft, herbaceous, slightly musky aroma, clary sage is often used in calming and harmonising blends. It pairs well with floral, woody, and citrus oils, and is a favourite in both massage and diffusion work for creating a sense of balance and ease.

Massage: Use 2–4 drops per 100ml of carrier oil
Bath: Add 3 drops to ¼ cup of bath salts before dispersing in warm water
Diffusion: Ideal in evening blends; use sparingly due to its rich scent

As with all essential oils, dilute before topical use and perform a patch test. Clary sage is not recommended during pregnancy and should be used with care due to its potency.
